What happens to medicines that cannot be packed in blisters?
medicines that cannot be packed in blisters, for example creams, inhalers, patches, liquids, things that are taken only when required (eg painkillers) etc… are dispensed and delivered as they are alongside the blister pack containing all the medication that can be packed in a blister.
How long does it take for my blister pack to arrive?
upon receipt of the prescription it will take 24-48 hours for us to put the packs together. The packs will then be sent out for next day delivery. We will always aim to send out your packs during the last week of your existing pack. We will call you the day before your pack arrives to make sure you are able to take collection of the delivery.
I do not want my medication packed in a blister but i would like you to collect and deliver them.
That’s fine, fill in the online form and we will contact you to arrange the service. We can collect and deliver your prescription without packing it in blister packs for free.
What happens if I normally get two months worth of drugs on my prescription?
We would contact your doctor and arrange one months worth of prescriptions to be sent to us each time, then we would send you 4 weeks of blister packs at a time.
What happens if I run out of medication or lose one of my blister packs?
If you mislay your blister pack or run out of medication you will need to call us immediately on 01744818826. We will arrange for your doctor to do a temporary prescription for your medication to get you through until your next pack can be made up.
What happens if my medication changes mid way through a set of blister packs?
If your medication changes mid way through one of your packs you need to contact us on
01744 818826 as soon as possible and we will advise you on the best course of action. You may need a new set of blister packs or you may be able to continue to use your existing packs and supplement them with new medication until your next set of packs is due.
What if I want to go out for the day and take some of my medication with me?
Each compartment on the blister pack has a perforated border so you can pull off the day’s doses of medication and takes them with you. |
